Towards the end of the last millennium, Youth 2000 abandoned itself to the providence of God by taking a decision not to charge a fixed price for attending its events. At the heart of this decision was a deep belief that the initiative should exclude no-one and should reach out to the poorest of the poor - those who are suffering both material and spiritual poverty.

Youth 2000 remains true to this, firm in the belief that God will always provide for the initiative and that young people should always be able to benefit from its retreats, even if they have little or no money.

So this is where you can help. You can financially support the work of Youth 2000. Although Youth 2000 runs on a shoestring, the costs do still mount up. The annual prayer festival in Walsingham costs tens of thousands of pounds to run, the regional retreats cost money and the National Office has to be rented, the electricity bills have to be paid and so on.

A monthly donation to the work of Youth 2000 will really help keep the cogs moving smoothly, although one-off donations are always welcome too if you just can't stretch that far. If you are a tax payer, completing the Gift Aid declaration will also enable us to reclaim 28p for ever £1 you donate back from the Inland Revenue.
